Born in USA, 1991

My passion for art started at an early age. I think some of that has to do with my mom. Not being able to grip objects well made things harder ‘but what’s life without a little challenge’.
After trying different gadgets and doohickeys, I eventually started to paint with my mouth.
I most likely would have given up if I didn’t have such kind supportive people in my life. My parents and grandparents have always encouraged me to stay strong and follow my dreams. One person, in particular, has made the biggest impact in my life, and that would be my high school teacher Mr. Jones. I have always been scared for critique days even to this day, but Mr. Jones always had something positive to say and told you what you needed to work harder on. He was the first art teacher that got me to draw people ‘and I’m very grateful for that considering that’s my favorite thing to draw’ even if I only drew females. He also expanded my creativeness to ceramics. Some of my happiest days in life were staying after school and having Mr. Jones teach me how to use the wheel.
Don’t get me wrong I’ve had many great art teachers.

I received a certificate at DXATC majoring in Drafting and Design. I am a freelance drafter who enjoys creating floor plans and creating art on the side. My dream is to make homes, furniture, public areas handicap accessible.
